Unveiling of Nerf Laser Ops Pro attracts huge celebrity crowd, including Jack Wilshere, Professor Green and more

The stars came out for the grand launch of Hasbro's Nerf Laser Ops Pro at a special event attended by TnP in London this week.

Alongside fans, bloggers, influencers and press, the event attracted a slew of celebrity Nerf fans. Premier League footballer Jack Wilshere was the first to get his hands on the Nerf Laser Ops Pro.

“Being a big Nerf fan and a father of three, I’m really excited about the launch of Nerf Laser Ops Pro,” said Jack Wilshere. “It’s great to have fun with friends and family, and so I am looking forward to lots of Nerf fun with the kids to help me relax from our hard pre-season schedule!”

Rapper and documentary maker Professor Green, presenter and actor Joe Swash, singer and actor Lee Ryan and presenter Kirsty Gallagher were just some of the other high-profile names who couldn't wait for their first Nerf Laser Ops Pro battle.

Speaking to TnP, Craig Wilkins, Senior Marketing Director, Hasbro UK & Ireland, said: "I think it's sometimes easy to forget just how widespread the fan base for Nerf is, and how much people love the brand. The introduction of this new laser blaster segment for Nerf is really exciting and we've been thrilled with the turnout and the response from everyone, from the bloggers and influencers to the celebrities – everyone here shares a genuine love of the brand, and many of them continue to enjoy it today with their families. We’re thrilled with the response to the range so far and anticipate that Nerf Laser Ops Pro will be a top choice this year for Christmas.”

Each Nerf Laser Ops Pro blaster comes with a variety of features including three play modes -- solo, team or free-for-all.  The blasters feature a multi-directional receiver dome, unlimited ammo, team light indicators, visual/sound effects to notify players they’ve been hit, and a display to show current health and ammo capacity. Players can amp up their laser battles with the free Nerf Laser Ops Pro app that can be downloaded on select iOS and Android devices. It offers real-time battle intel allowing players to customize their blasters, track performance, earn power-ups, and locate opponents during battle.
