Vivid readies for launch of new soft plush range
Vivid is preparing to launch its range of soft plush creatures covered in colourful reversible sequins enabling kids to dazzle their friends by creating beautiful patterns with ease.
Hitting the shelves in July, the stage is set for Shimmeez to shine – and UK exclusive distributor Vivid has robust plans in place to maximise and maintain high brand awareness from launch and beyond.
Tapping into the current sequin trend being seen across lifestyle and fashion products, Shimmeez’s key USP lies in the mesmerising reversible sequin covering of each cute character, which enables children to transform their plush with the brush of their hand. The range consists of three SKUs – Clip Ons, Medium and Large – with multiple characters for kids to collect across each series.
“Sequins are everywhere and Shimmeez brings sequins to the toy market in a very unique and exciting plush,” said Cathy Prowde, Brand Manager at Vivid. “It’s a fantastic product and we’ve had a really positive response to the range and we are sure that it will add a bit of sparkle to the industry.”
Vivid has a strong 360-degree marketing plan in place not only covering TV and digital but also plans are in place to work with YouTubers and micro influencers, as well as running a strong PR campaign. The brand has been backed strongly by retailers keen to ensure they have a piece of the action.
