Mattel and fashion brand renew partnership for new festival-inspired apparel collection
Mattel and Missguided have joined forces to launch the newest capsule collection in the ongoing #BarbiexMissguided collaboration, debuting a festival inspired line for the summer.
The collection marks the fourth time Barbie and Missguided have collaborated, following three sellout previous collections since 2017.
The summer collaboration is Missguided and Barbie’s boldest yet, taking inspiration from true Americana with fringed jackets, red, white and blue sequined denim and the now iconic Missguided Barbie slogan T-shirts over stars and stripes. The Barbie logo signature is bigger than ever, across boxy cropped T-shirts, over Missguided pink and coloured tie-die lounge wear sets.
Co-ords dominate with mix and match denim jackets and shorts, tie-die tops and flares and street wear inspired jogger sets with never seen before, playful logo scaling. The highly successfully denim dungaree dress is back in two festival styles with sequins and metal fringing.
Designed exclusively inhouse, this new collection brings Barbie back into the Missguided world.
The newest drop of BarbiexMissguided apparel is the latest in an exciting 2018 rollout strategy of licensed categories globally for Barbie, including stationery, with a European Moleskine partnership, and a beauty partnership with Sephora France.
