Toy Fair 2019 filling up with strong rebooking rate
Four in five exhibitors to return from 2018's show as enquiries from new exhibitors spike
Toy Fair 2019 has already secured an 81 per cent re-booking rate of returning exhibitors (excluding the Greenhouse Area), in less than three months since the end of the 2018 show.
Following a successful and vibrant 2018 event and the many emerging trends and high-profile stories, returnees include Character Options, Spin Master, H. Grossman, Ravensburger, Golden Bear, Flair, Orchard Toys, Amerang, Halilit, and Rainbow Designs, to name just a few.
Playmobil will also be returning to fold, with Jamie Dickinson, Marketing and Display Manager, saying: “Toy Fair is and always has been an important show for Playmobil, both for our independent and national customers as well as the press attendance it receives. This is the best opportunity we have to show all the new products we have each year to get confirmed orders and to achieve press coverage of the new lines. We will be back exhibiting at Toy Fair 2019 with lots more exciting launches!”
And Toy Fair stalwart Fiesta Crafts will be back on the show floor for another three days of swift business in January.
Rob Trup, Brand and Marketing Manager, Fiesta Crafts, said: “Returning to Toy Fair is always a very easy decision to make. Quality attendees, excellent organisation and most importantly, great for business. See you in 2019!”
Majen Immink, Director of Fairs and Special Events said: “We are very much looking forward to welcoming back such a large number of returning companies, both small and large, to the show. It’s encouraging to have received so many applications this early on, and we are extremely appreciative of the support the industry continues to provide the show. We have already received an exciting number of new enquiries and look forward to attracting new faces from the industry to the show as we seek to put on another busy three days, at the heart of the industry’s buying calendar.”
Toy Fair will return to Olympia, London from 22-24 January 2019, welcoming a range of toys, games and hobbies manufacturers and distributors to the show from large renowned brands right through to start-ups. With 190 applications already submitted for exhibition space, including a high number of new exhibitor enquiries, Toy Fair 2019 looks set to be another busy show, providing a vibrant platform for the industry to promote their new products to buyers, retailers, licensors and the media as well as networking among peers, forging new relationships and building on existing partnerships.
