Worlds Apart signs partner to distribute toys in North America and Australia
Worlds Apart has secured US distribution on its new feature plush line for 2018 – Scruff-a-Luvs.
Scruff-a-Luvs is a new girls’ feature plush range based on the heartwarming viral video shares of homeless scruffy pets being adopted, cared for and brought back to full health and happiness. With transformation and ‘surprise reveal’ at its core, the magic of Scruff-a-Luvs is that you have to rescue it to reveal its true beauty. When the pet is adopted, it arrives as a sad ball of matted fur, but once washed, dried and groomed its inner beauty is revealed.
Worlds Apart has partnered with Moose Toys to distribute its new range for launch in North America and Australia in 2018, with Moose showcasing the range at New York Toy Fair this weekend, followed by a retail rollout from June 2018.
The Scruff-a-Luvs range features six characters and will launch worldwide with future brand extensions planned for 2019 and beyond. A fully integrated marketing campaign targeting both children and parents will run across all markets in autumn/winter 2018.
Worlds Apart has enlisted ZURU to distribute its new, on-trend toy line, Tube Superstar in the US.
Tube Superstar is an all-in-one vlogging toy that lets kids role-play being a YouTuber. The product features a unique QR code microphone that enables kids to apply awesome editing effects live as they go. The child-safe app (created by Worlds Apart) features three different video modes inspired by the most popular YouTube video themes, with more than 50 different filters and effects, including facial recognition, animation, stickers and sound effects.
ZURU will be leading distribution of Tube Superstar in North America, Australia and New Zealand, launching with a 360 marketing campaign to include TV, digital and influencer campaigns from June 2018.
