Asmodee welcomes Kara Tointon to Toy Fair
The actress, Strictly winner and presenter will be launching Asmodee UK's Arokah at Olympia next week
Asmodee UK will be welcoming actress Kara Tointon to its Toy Fair stand next Tuesday for the official launch of new game Arokah.
Kara will be joined by the game's inventor Steve C. Brazier.
Kara's journey with learning makes her an ideal ambassador for the game. Her BBC documentary, Kara Tointon: Don’t Call Me Stupid, followed her lifelong battle with dyslexia and prompted Steve to reach out even before Arokah had been developed as a commercial product. Since 2013, Kara has been part of the team helping to bring Arokah to the world as a challenge accessible to all ages and abilities.
Arokah represents the ultimate multi-puzzle challenge. Based on a new mathematical discovery by Brazier, Arokah reveals previously unknown properties of a hexagon; a unique set of 23 shapes that combine to create beautiful and extraordinary patterns.
"I saw it, loved it and could instantly see what the world of Arokah could be,” she said.
Arokah’s evocative and intriguing designs could easily see it mistaken for an artefact of a bygone age. In reality, it is a fiendishly difficult and completely addictive puzzle challenge that is sure to test your resolve, patience and determination to the limit! Each set of Arokah contains the Arokah shapes, 12 puzzle challenges and a double-sided playing board with a welcome guide and instructions. Players journey through six levels of Arokah before taking on the Master Challenges.
Call by the Asmodee UK stand at 12pm on Toy Fair’s Press Day to discover the mystery and take up the challenge to become a master of Arokah!
