Classic kids' brand comes to range of games and puzzles

The new year brings an exciting development for the Roald Dahl brand with the arrival of a new games and puzzles licensee, as Paul Lamond  joins The Roald Dahl Estate's ever-growing licensing programme.

Stephanie Griggs, Licensing & Design Director, The Roald Dahl Estate said: “We’re gearing up for 2018 to be a fantastic year for new product launches, and we’re delighted to be partnering with Paul Lamond on this new range of games and puzzles. They’ve done a great job of capturing the spirit of Roald Dahl’s stories.”

Paul Lamond will launch four 250-piece puzzles in February, in time for World Book Day. The puzzles, which feature Quentin Blake’s unmistakable illustrations, star some of Roald Dahl’s most loved characters from his best-selling books including Matilda, James and the Giant Peach, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and The BFG. Further games and puzzles will follow later in the year.

“We’re delighted to be starting 2018 as a Roald Dahl licensee," Richard Wells, Managing Director of Paul Lamond. "It’s a privilege and an honour to have joined the licensing programme and to be part of this phenomenal success story. The Roald Dahl characters need no introduction and we’re looking forward to a hugely positive response from both retailers and fans alike."

Alicia Davenport, DRi’s Licensing Director added: “Paul Lamond already represent some of licensing’s most successful brands. We’re thrilled to have them on board.”
