Zuru targets Boxing Day with smashing campaign
New collectable IP Smashers to launch with major marketing push on 26 December
Zuru has revealed its marketing details for Smashers, the brand new collectble IP which will be available on 26 December 2017 at various retail stores around the UK.
Zuru is investing substantial dollars into the Smashers campaign - its biggest this year - which will see the TV campaign kicking off this week with 10-second teaser spots, along with the core TVCs airing as part of the big launch on TV and YouTube on the 26 December.
The TV campaign forms one of the biggest segments of the launch with spots running across all relevant kids TV channels including Channel 5, Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, CiTV, Disney and more. In addition to TV, there will be several advertising spots to run across YouTube and online.

The reveals and reviews side of the campaign is strongly underpinned by a big PR push that targets traditional media, bloggers and celebrities. The campaign also includes a number of YouTube influencer unboxing and bespoke videos that have been carefully chosen by Zuru and its specialist influencer agency.
The Smashers website also launches this week and is jam-packed full of interactive elements and standout content to help introduce consumers to the brand, and ensure they want to return to see what’s new.
