Awards galore make 2017 a glittering 12 months for Schleich

Following a year of unprecedented growth, Schleich UK is ending 2017 on a high after a string of awards for its product franchises.

The awards add to a record-breaking year for Schleich's UK operation. The Creative Play Awards recognise the best products available to enhance creative development in young children and Schleich’s Farm World Tractor and Trailer beat all the competition as the outright winner in the Imaginative Role Play 4-7 category. Testers’ comments included: “I liked the fact that it came ready-assembled, it was very innovative and unique, and it will provide endless hours of imaginative fun!”

This year’s Practical Pre-school Awards also saw success for the Farm World Tractor and Trailer as the pre-school playset won silver in the Toys and Games 3-5yrs category. The Large Skull Trap with Velociraptor set also won Silver in the Parent Teacher Update: Toys and Games Category. Practical Pre-school entries are all thoroughly evaluated by child-carers and professionals, together with the children they look after.

Two lines from the Horse Club collection also received honours. Right Start magazine gave the Horse Club Riding Centre a Highly Commended title in its annual Best Toy Guide, and the Choice Awards also recognised the Horse Stall with Arab Horses and Groom which won Highly Commended in the Best Toys ages 8-11 (£20 and above) category.

Jeremy Robinson, Country Manager said: “We are delighted to see Schleich toys being recognised by parents, teachers, child care professionals and parenting editors. Awards such as these really influence consumer purchasing decisions so we are thrilled that Schleich is being held in such high regard. The results also reflect the strength of the individual collections in the Schleich portfolio, and looking ahead to our 2018 plans, we’re positive that the brand identities will only get stronger.”
