OnBuy offers fee-free 2018
TV campaign kickstarts fee-free offer for sellers that sign up to the online marketplace by the end of December
Online marketplace OnBuy.com is offering sellers an early Christmas present of fee-free membership for the whole of 2018, as it launches a major TV campaign.
Sellers who sign up by the end of December will get the whole of 2018 fee-free if they sign up in December. OnBuy sellers normally pay a subscription fee of £19 a month, but this is being reduced to zero as part of this one-off package. Sellers will only pay for the month of December.
It comes as UK marketplace signs a deal with ITV for prime-time slots on all its channels across Christmas and New Year, with further TV advertising planned with ITV and Sky during 2018. The Christmas campaign, launching 18 December, is set to reach at least 20m UK households across ITV 1, 2, 3, 4 and Be. OnBuy advertising will be featured in key prime-time movie slots over the festive season, including during ET and Harry Potter on Christmas Day.
The 20-second ad will focus on OnBuy’s “Get On It!” message, encouraging shoppers and sellers alike to visit OnBuy.com to see its offers and deals.
OnBuy offers some of the best deals for shoppers available anywhere online, thanks to its reduced commission fees for sellers which translate into lower prices for consumers.

OnBuy launched in November 2016 to provide a credible UK alternative to Amazon and now has more than 2m product lines. December has been the busiest month ever for OnBuy, which is on track to have half a million visitors during the month as Christmas shoppers take advantage of its deals.
