London launch for Zuru toy block tape
Partners with LEGO fan convention Bricklive to release Mayka Toy Block Tape
Zuru has announced that London will be the first city globally to get their hands on the innovative new Mayka – Toy Block Tape.
Partnering with Bricklive, the UK’s biggest LEGO fan convention running 27-30 July, for the launch, Zuru has created a unique and interactive 100sqm stand for the occasion.
Zuru’s stand will have a Mayka Tape playground where children and adults alike will be given the exclusive opportunity to try out Mayka Tape for the very first time before it hits UK stores in August 2017. With Mayka Toy Block Tape, block builders can transform any surface into a surface compatible with all leading toy block and building brick brands.
This gravity-defying tape went viral on Indiegogo earlier this year under the name Nimuno Loops and has been tipped as 2017’s hottest toy invention. Mayka Toy Block Tape allows you to build up walls, around corners and even upside down. All you have to do is cut, shape, and stick and then you can Mayka 3D world anywhere you like! Better yet, its nonmarking and you can remove and re-stick over and over again!
Zuru’s unique activity playground at Bricklive includes a huge Mayka sign, a Big Ben, tunnels and cubes, which attendees can build all over and under with 10,000 meters of tape. This will allow guests to really experience the boundary-free building Mayka Toy Block Tape provides. Alongside the interactive display guests can sign up to be notified when Mayka Toy Block Tape is available to purchase, enter competitions and 5,000 VIP guests will also receive an exclusive sample.
Zuru’s Mayka Toy Block Tape is 100 per cent compatible with Lego, Mega Bloks and all other leading toy block brands and will hit shelves in the UK this August. It is available in Small (1m 2stud), Medium (2m 2stud) and Large (2m 4stud), with nine colours available in the first release.
