SoundMoovz launches with a bang!
Celebrities and national press celebrate launch of Character Options’ wearable tech at OXO Tower party
The official launch for SoundMoovz took place last night, 4 July, with an exclusive party attended by Team TnP at the top of the OXO Tower in London.
Press and celebrities were all in attendance to watch the launch of the innovative new wearable tech gadget.
SoundMoovz lets users make music by moving, and this was demonstrated spectacularly to a venue packed full of VIP guests. The SoundMoovz crew of professional dancers, which Character Options formed especially for the launch, put on an excellent performance to guests such as 5 After Midnight and Sinitta plus Katya Jones and Joanne Clifton from Strictly Come Dancing, and TV personalities Imogen Thomas and Nikki Grahame.
Speaking at the event, Jerry Healy, Group Marketing Director, Character Group, said: “SoundMoovz is a totally unique product which is going to make a big impact in the UK market. It’s such an innovative product to add to our portfolio, we see this as the must-have wearable tech of 2017. The SoundMoovz Dance Crew has unleashed its unlimited potential to the UK audience whilst showing how super cool and easy these bands are to use; anyone can now product their own beats through simple movement and dance.”
The launch party followed the consumer debut of SoundMoovz at Westfield Stratford on 1 and 2 July. Thousands of shoppers flocked to watch the SoundMoovz dance crew and brand ambassador, Hakeem Onibudo, put on a spectacular show of streetdance, play acting and audience participation.
SoundMoovz creator Daigo Kusunoki said: “This all started as a way to mix my training in engineering with my passion for Dance. I thought it might win me a third Dance competition in Japan – but instead it’s taken me out of Japan to visit all these amazing places from England to Australia as well as Europe and America. Although my English is not that good, I have been able to dance and show Soundmoovz to everybody. The reaction has been overwhelming. People love making music by dancing, rather than just dancing to the music.”
The wearable tech was a big hit with singer Sinitta, who said: “I loved them so much I hope to be featuring them in my show at Pride this weekend!”
