Gummibär hits eight billion views on YouTube!
Children’s phenomenon continues to grow
Music sensation Gummibär is the most watched animated character on the internet with over eight billion views on YouTube.
The catchy debut song – I am a Gummybear (The Gummybear Song) is the third most watched video on YouTube of all time. Building on this success, 78 story led episodes Gummibär & Friends (the Gummybear show) are being produced by Kid Screen Award nominated and award winning animation production company Toonz Animation and launched on YouTube in June 2016.
In the last seven months these seven-minute episodes have drawn an average of 10 million views monthly – with this figure growing at a rate of 20 per cent each quarter!
At the same time, YouTube’s organic discovery model has driven a huge increase in views of the original content, bringing the total brand views of all ‘Gummibär’ content to eight billion.
