Rubies’ is the world's largest costume manufacturer and boasts a prestigious portfolio of major licenses including Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, Warner Brothers and Hasbro. Rubies’ are looking to recruit an experienced Area Manager to join the sales team in our rapidly growing business. Reporting to the Head of UK Sales, the successful candidate will be covering the North of England and Ireland.
With an excellent proven track record in Sales, you will be responsible for managing an existing portfolio of field accounts and ecommerce business within designated areas across the UK and Ireland, and identifying new business opportunities for the company’s diverse costume and accessory product ranges.
You are expected to be able to present product and marketing plans, think creatively about in store merchandising and theatre, and to build and maintain close working relationship with customers whilst also working closely with our logistics and product teams too.
You will be a passionate, highly motivated, driven self-starter, with the ability to problem solve. You must have a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a fast and dynamic environment. It is also expected that you have excellent communication skills and be able to articulate yourself effectively.
You will present and promote Rubie’s products to new and prospective customers, prepare and submit reports to the Head of UK Sales, monitor competition and market dynamics, analyse retail sales and submit monthly product and account forecasts.

Orchard Toys, based in Wymondham, Norfolk, have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Export Sales Manager to join their enthusiastic and motivated team.
Reporting to the Sales Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing existing distributor relationships across 40 export markets as well as seeking opportunities and potential in new markets.
The candidate will have excellent account management skills and a proactive approach to sourcing opportunities in unfamiliar territories. Experience of selling to the USA would be an advantage.
The role will involve travel throughout the year, but will be primarily office based. Whilst we would prefer the candidate to be based in our Wymondham office, we appreciate that this may not be practical, so we will consider applications from home based candidates.
